Provoking curiosity…
It takes a while before the children think of putting paper into this old typewriter to make it do something… They wonder if the flat disks beside it are the films for the old camera! They’re exploring a mini museum of historical artefacts on display in the library.

MOOC Latest Trends [INFOGRAPHIC]
As we enter into the early phases of MOOCs, we are now starting to see some early trends, particularly as more institutions start to jump on board. Speaking of which, it’s interesting to note that only 10% of schools offer or plan to offer any type of online course – which means the groundwork is there for MOOCs to gain some traction in years to come.

Adobe RoboHelp: Shared Review
When creating content within my Help System, I often put my content through a review process. Reviews help to ensure my content is correct and easy to understand. A recurring question by RoboHelp users is how they can use RoboHelp to gather reviews efficiently. Fortunately, RoboHelp has a review option that allows reviewers who don’t own Adobe RoboHelp to review your RoboHelp content. The only thing reviewers need is a PDF of your RoboHelp content, Adobe Acrobat or the free Adobe Reader.

Why emotional outcomes matter just as much as learning outcomes
This article is an edited extract from the upcoming June issue of Inside Learning Technologies and Skills magazine. Last month, Nicholas Baum explained some of the principles of something called ‘me-learning’. He outlined the mechanics of how an e-learning course can become a space in which learners can visualise new behaviours in action: ‘Here’s where I am; here’s where I could be; this is what I need to do to get there’. Personalised input and personalised output via emotionally charged content is another way to put it.
